The long arm of the blogmaster

So, just when you thought it was safe to switch off for the weekend, the long arm of the blogmaster catches you...!!!***

As my previous students have remarked, you I-dream people seem very lackadaisical (look it up!) about benefiting from the weblog and BC Learning Zone. Ignore those wise words at your peril, dreamers!

This is just to reinforce that you must ALL gird your loins and put 100% into your final week. That means no further absences, especially Ms H Al M., who has skipped two classes already - not the way to solve that person's severe problems with IELTS writing...

Remember, we'll be in ROOM 9 this week (unless plans have been changed without my knowledge). It's a bigger room with two AC units so you'll be frozen or deafened - take your pick! There is a fire escape for those who can't take it any more!!!!!!'

Tomorrow it's the "Globish" debate: Rashid and Eghbal FOR the motion that we should all learn Globish so as to communicate more effectively; with Mona and Waseem arguing for the Queen's English... We might have another teacher observing us to see how IELTS classes work.

We shall have a big session on WRITING tomorrow and look at your full scale Task 1 & 2 efforts from Wednesday - except for the MIA student. I will expect a full-scale Task 2 writing from 9.15 to 9.55pm - 40 minutes maximum Mona!

Mubs is coming on Sunday and Mohammed Sarhan on Tuesday. Jithu in India is ready to answer any of your queries as well. Do you appreciate how lucky you are?

Most of my I-dream posts seem to be read, but how about a response from ALL the class? Can you show I-match and I-words weblogs that you are a smart, committed community of learners? Or are you a bunch of potatoes that are going to be sliced up by the unforgiving lean, mean IELTS machine?

Over to you!

Good night! May your dreams come true!

Tony

Looks like the whole class has gone MIA!

Any signs of intelligent life out there?

The teacher never sleeps . . . but sure has his dreams . . .
